The Legacy Of The Ford Automobile Company - 2350 Words
The FORD AUTOMOBILE COMPANY soon became a great employer of many folks. This helped in mitigating the problem of unemployment which was then rampant in this era of the post-depression the US nation. Henry Ford was greatly liked by his employees as they were not being rushed but they worked solely under continual motivation from their employer. The model A cars were strong, high off the ground and involved simple mechanics, this also made the a favorite for many as compared to other sophisticated models of those days. In 1907, Henry Ford and his company would make a debut out of their sales. They manufactured the model Theory took it to the British Isles, drove it to the top of Ben Nevis which was very steep and a high hill. With over two hundred countries participating, the Olympic Games is easily considered as one of the largest multisport event known to history. The Olympics are held at a different country, and even more rarely at the same city. For a country to be chosen to host the Olympics, the countryââ¬â¢s National Olympic Committee (the countryââ¬â¢s representatives for the Olympics) nominates a city (from the country they represent) that they think has potential in hosting the Olympics nine years prior to when they wish to host the Olympics. It is a two year process that consists of: Application Phase, Candidate Phase and the Election of the Host City. The country that wins the election is given seven years to prepare for the Olympics. Scapin The Schemer Scapin the main character of this play was not only a trickster, but he could talk his way into money. He lied his way around everything. Scapin was dumb in some aspects but very smart in getting what he wanted. The play was based on Argante's son and Geronte's son falling in love with two girls before their fathers returned from their voyage. In all actuality the two fathers were coming home to marry their sons off to the women they had picked for him. Besides, Octave and Leandre only fell in love with the girls because of Scapin.Scapin was quite the trickster, always tricking people into believing things that really weren't the truth. When the two men come back from their voyage Argante finds out about what his son has done. Argante confronts Scapin about it and he lies through his teeth.
